You should know what a photography session costs before you book it. Choose the type of session that fits what you need. If you are unsure, contact me and I will help you decide.

Headshot Session

$250

Session fee, one finished image included ($125 value)

  • Multiple looks, outfits, and setups
  • Images reviewed together during your session
  • A finished image is retouched: color correction, skin, eyes, facial lines, teeth, clothing wrinkles, hair flyaways, and background cleanup.
  • Additional finished images $125 each, or All Images $600 total
  • All Images, $600 total: four finished, retouched files plus every unedited shot from your session. Additional retouching $35 each.

Portrait Session

$450

Three-quarter and full-length, two finished images included

  • Up to two hours for actors, musicians, models, and portfolio updates
  • Different setups through the session: lighting, backdrops, and wardrobe, not the same head-and-shoulders crop repeated on a tripod
  • More dramatic light, props, and full-length frames when the work needs them
  • Additional finished images available

Group Headshots

$750 to $1,625

3 people $750, then $125 each additional, up to 10

  • Three people, $750. Each additional person $125, up to ten ($1,625)
  • One finished headshot per person, consistent lighting and framing
  • Three to five day turnaround on selected images
  • More than 10 people: inquire for a team rate

Personal Branding

$600

Studio plus one location

  • A set of looks for website, social, and marketing
  • Sessions typically run up to three hours
  • Location rental fees, if any, are separate

Before your session, we can discuss your goals, intended use, and wardrobe.

During the session, you will see the photographs on screen while we work.

Afterward, you select the images you want professionally finished.

What is included in the $250 session fee?
One finished image, a $125 value. Multiple looks and setups. Live review on screen as we shoot, so you choose your frame before you leave. A finished image is retouched: color correction, skin, eyes, facial lines, teeth, clothing wrinkles, hair flyaways, and background cleanup.
Can I buy more images?
Yes. Additional finished images are $125 each. Or take All Images, $600 total: four finished, retouched files plus every unedited shot from your session. Additional retouching $35 each. You choose in your private online gallery after the session.

How does group pricing work?
Three people are $750 ($250 each). Each additional person is $125, up to ten people ($1,625). More than ten is a custom inquiry. That is $750 to $1,625 for groups of 3 to 10.
Why is the Portrait Session $450 if two headshots would be $375?
A headshot session is one setup: same crop, same light, looks and outfits changing in place. A portrait session is a different shoot. We change lighting, backdrops, and clothing, and we work three-quarter and full-length, for up to two hours. That is why it is not the same as adding one extra headshot.
Do you retouch the images?
Every finished image is retouched by me, not outsourced. The goal is a file that looks like you on a very good day, not a filter.
Do I need to know how to pose?
No. Direction is part of the session, and you can see each frame as we go. You will never be asked to smile on command.
How do I pay?
Request a date and I will confirm it personally. Payment is handled when we confirm your session.

You do not have to be good at having your picture taken.

You just need a photographer who knows what to do next. Come to the studio in Teaneck and we will create it together.
